Transit started learning the craft when he was first exposed to the Hip-Hop culture in his early teens. When he saw the chance to DJ his first paid gig at his grade school, he immediately took initiative to buy his first sound system. Over the span of almost two decades, Transit acquired the musical knowledge and song selection needed for large private functions such as bar/bat mitzvahs and weddings.

While in college at Drexel University, DJ Transit went on to spin at Philadelphia’s hottest bars and club venues, before becoming a full-time DJ pursuing his passion spinning at events nationwide in Atlantic City, Baltimore, Boston, Dallas, D.C., Chicago, Denver, Jersey, L.A., Memphis, St. Louis, New York and Virginia. Wanting to take his career to the next level, Transit immersed himself into music production. He caught the ear of record pool, Heavy Hits, where DJs from around the world can download his exclusive edits and remixes.

Being the entrepreneur he is, Transit went on to venture in other aspects of the entertainment and event industry before starting Rhythm & Vibe Entertainment. He saw a lack of emphasis on details and tailored curation by other DJ professionals in the same space. Crafting a boutique approach for his clients and couples, Transit ensures you and your guests will have memories to cherish for a lifetime.

    Our pricing varies based on factors such as location, date, and specific requirements. For weddings in the Philadelphia area, an average investment is between $2500-$3500. This includes services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We also offer à la carte options and off-season pricing upon request.
  • How far in advance should we book your DJ services?
    We recommend booking our services 6 to 12 months in advance to ensure availability and allow ample time for personalized planning. However, we understand that circumstances vary, and we are open to accommodating shorter timelines when possible.

    Our DJs dress in formal attire to match the elegance of your wedding. We are also open to accommodating specific dress codes or themes upon request.
  • Are you insured?
    Yes, we carry comprehensive liability insurance, which is often required by venues. This coverage ensures peace of mind for all parties involved.
  • What is your policy on cancellations, rescheduling, or refunds?
    A non-refundable 25% deposit is required to secure your date. Cancellations within six months of the event date may incur an additional 50% fee due to potential loss of work. We strive to be flexible with rescheduling and will work with you to find an optimal solution. Refunds are provided only if we are unable to deliver the agreed-upon services.
